1. Class B Autoclave Compliance
Featured clinics must utilize fractionated vacuum Class B autoclaves (the highest global sterilization standard) rather than standard Class N gravity steam sterilizers. Class B autoclaves pull active vacuum pulses to ensure steam penetrates hollow instruments, handpieces, and surgical cassettes.
2. Weekly Biological Spore Test Logs
Autoclave temperature and pressure gauges can sometimes be faulty. Clinics are audited for weekly biological indicator spore tests (using Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores) processed by certified third-party laboratories. This confirms that the autoclave is successfully destroying all bacterial spores.
3. Dental Unit Waterline Testing
Dental unit waterlines are narrow tubes prone to microbial biofilm growth. Audit protocols verify that clinics use active waterline disinfection regimens (chemical tablets or systems) and perform regular water bacteria test counts to keep water safe.
4. Chemical Indicator Tapes & Sealed Pouches
All surgical instruments and diagnostics sets must be sealed in sterile pouches. Pouches must have chemical indicators that change color when exposed to steam under pressure, proving that the specific pouch underwent autoclave processing.
Safety Verification Guarantee
